Custom Apparel for Government Offices, Military Units & Agencies
DreamToMerch supplies custom printed and embroidered apparel to federal, state, and local government buyers — recruiting event shirts, embroidered staff polos, morale and volunteer apparel, uniform shirts, hats, and hoodies. Low minimums, digital proof before production, firm all-inclusive pricing, and direct-to-facility delivery.
Built for purchase-card buys
- Micro-purchase friendly: firm fixed quotes for orders from 25 to 500+ pieces — most orders fall within standard purchase-card authority
- Government purchase cards accepted — tax-exempt transactions with documentation
- One shipment, one location (multi-destination available, priced separately)
- Digital proof approval before production — nothing prints until you sign off
- Active SAM.gov registration with UEI and CAGE code — furnished on request
Two supply catalogs, full transparency
Catalog A — Commercial: premium commercial blanks (Gildan, Bella+Canvas and similar), decorated at U.S. facilities. Lowest price. Blank garment country of origin disclosed on every quote.
Catalog B — U.S.-made blanks: documented American-manufactured garments (e.g., Bayside), decorated in the United States, with manufacturer and style locked in writing — for requirements that specify domestic products. Priced separately.
Our commitment to accuracy: decoration in the United States does not by itself make a garment U.S.-made. Every DreamToMerch quote states the blank's country of origin plainly, and we make no domestic-content representation unless confirmed in writing for the exact item offered.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a government purchase card (GPC) be used to buy custom apparel?
Yes. Most custom apparel orders for outreach events, staff identification, and morale programs fall within micro-purchase authority, which cardholders may complete without a formal solicitation. DreamToMerch accepts government purchase cards, provides a firm all-inclusive quote before any charge, and processes the transaction tax-exempt with supporting documentation. We never begin production until the authorization is confirmed and your artwork proof is approved in writing.
What is the current micro-purchase threshold for these orders?
As of October 1, 2025, the standard federal micro-purchase threshold is $15,000 (it was previously $10,000). Individual cardholders may have lower single-purchase limits set by their agency, so we structure quotes as a single clear line-item total to make approval straightforward. Purchase splitting to stay under a card limit is prohibited, and we will not structure quotes that way.
Are your shirts made in the USA?
It depends on the catalog you choose, and we will never blur this line: printing or embroidering an imported blank in a U.S. facility does not make the garment U.S.-made. Our Commercial catalog uses imported blanks decorated in the United States — the country of origin is disclosed on every quote. Our U.S.-made catalog uses documented American-manufactured blanks (such as Bayside) with the manufacturer and style locked in writing. If your requirement specifies domestic products, Buy American, or Berry Amendment compliance, tell us up front and we will quote only garments we can document.
Do government orders under $15,000 require Buy American compliance?
Generally, the FAR Buy American supply rules apply above the micro-purchase threshold, so most orders at this size are not subject to them by default — but the solicitation or your agency's own instructions always control. If your order requires domestic end products at any dollar level, we quote from our documented U.S.-made catalog instead. When in doubt, send us the requirement language and we will confirm in writing what we can offer.
What are your minimum quantities and turnaround times?
Minimums start at 25 pieces for printed shirts and 25 for embroidered items (embroidery digitization is included at that quantity). Typical production plus delivery is 2–3 weeks for orders in the 50–200 piece range, and we commit to a delivery date in writing before you order — with buffer built in, so early delivery is common and late delivery is not.
Do you provide proofs before production?
Always. You receive a digital proof showing your artwork on the exact garment and placement. Nothing goes to production until a named point of contact approves the proof in writing with a date. Artwork changes after approval are handled as documented change orders so there are no surprises on either side.
Can you handle individual size breakdowns for a whole office or unit?
Yes, at no extra charge. Send a simple list — quantities per size (S–5XL on most garments) — or we can provide a collection sheet your team fills in. Sizes are locked on an agreed date before production so the order ships complete in one shipment.
Are you a certified veteran-owned business?
DreamToMerch is a veteran-owned Michigan small business with an active SAM.gov registration. Our SBA VetCert application is in process; we do not presently represent ourselves as a certified VOSB or SDVOSB, and we will not claim set-aside eligibility until certification is granted. What we offer today is honest sourcing, firm pricing, and fast, documented fulfillment.
How do you invoice — can you work with WAWF or IPP?
For purchase-card orders, the card transaction with itemized receipt is typically all that is required. For orders awarded under a purchase order, we invoice exactly as the order specifies — including Wide Area Workflow (PIEE/WAWF) for DoD or the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) for civilian agencies — matching line items, units, and routing codes to the award document.
Do you serve state, city, and school buyers in Michigan?
Yes — we are Michigan-based and supply state agencies, cities, counties, school districts, and universities: spirit wear, athletics, staff polos, program shirts, and event apparel. We are registered in Michigan procurement systems and can complete district vendor onboarding forms on request. Local delivery to the Flint, Grand Blanc, Detroit, and Lansing areas is often available.
